AcuWorks meets or exceeds all safety measures mandated by the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care for clinical practice during the COVID-19 pandemic.

• All providers at the site are fully vaccinated and boosted, and have completed Infection Prevention and Control (IPAC) training offered by Ontario Public Health

• Your provider will use N95 masks (tested and proven 95% effective) and a face shield.

• The clinic is located in a purpose-built medical building with excellent ventilation.

What you can expect:
 

Screening: One day prior to first visit, and at start of intake.
 

Masking: Please keep your mask on for the entire visit.
 

Distancing: The spacious waiting room permits safe distancing between patients. One half-hour is blocked off between each visit, to reduce contact between patients.
 

Disinfecting and sanitizing: Clean Needle Technique (CNT) is rigorously observed for all treatments. Hospital-grade disinfectant is used on all treatment, contact, and horizontal surfaces in the clinic between patients. Linens are laundered in accordance with regulatory standards set by the College; clean and used linens are stored separately in sealed containers.
